The most revered place of muslims it, contains the Kaaba, the most esteemed building in islam. It is for the worship, performing Tawaf for Kaaba, and worshipping during the rituals of Hajj and Umrah.
This mountain is near Makkah and is well-known by Muslims as the one where the Prophet was receiving his revelation from Allah in Hira cave.
Located in Arafat, it is the place where had the final speech before the final ‘Hajj.’ On the Day of Arafah, it is a very important place for the pilgrims performing hajj pilgrimage.
4. Mina
Mina is a valley close to Makkah and is most popular for the Stoning of the Jamarat hajj rite exemplifying the shunning of Satan. The pilgrims also do take times to sleep here during the rite of the Hajj.
5. Masjid Aisha (Taneem)
This one is situated out side the Makkah city only but for any one who happens to be in Makkah he or she can perform I’hram for Umrah from here.
This cave is found the Jabal Thawr mountain.. Isn’t it a piece of history since it was the place of refuge of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and his companion Abu Bakr (ra) during his migration (Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah.
Slightly close to the Kaaba is the place that Prophet Ibrahim (AS) prayed standing while constructing the Kaaba together with his son Isma’il (AS). There is also a visitor-known stone called the Maqam Ibrahim and people pray or stand beside it.
Zamzam is a well situated inside the mosque and specifically near the Kaaba’ah building. It is said the it gushed forth to provide water and was given to Hajar, who is the mother of Isma’il by Allah. It is a source of blessing, and pilgrims drink from it.
This mosque is located in Makkah area of Jinn. According to the story it is the place where a group of jinn converted to Islam after the hearing the verses of Quran recited by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
10. Dar al-Arqam
It is an old structure in Makkah, this was the house where the early Muslims use to offer prayer and learn soon after the commencement of Islam and where the Prophet (PBUH) used to guide his companions.
